The Picasso's Guernica is in Libya

As an art teacher the other day I pondered, as he explained Picasso's Guernica to my students the relevance of this framework.
The artist takes a moment for posterity and recalls terrifying and painful for the Catalan city struck by the Franco regime.
If we wanted we could update this work with what 'is happening at this time "It calms down the uprising in Libya, despite the bloody repression (Gaddafi) and the country slides toward civil war" Il Messaggero.
So thinking back to that picture: The calm, quiet, shock! Mothers who mourn the death of their children, a bull symbol of the country, but the ferocity, the horse symbol of a people in rebellion, but also running scared, a woman who is desperate in his house wrapped in flames evoking figure of the Magdalene's tears .. people trying to escape, the pieces shattered by the explosion and the sound of sleazy man who falls for an ideal.
